Close to the D-Day American Landing Beach of Omaha Beach and right in front of the roundabout leading to the American Cemetery of Colleville sur Mer is the Overlord Museum - Omaha Beach. Surrounded by historical artifacts from the era, the museum promises a unique visit. Once inside the museum, the visitor discovers the history of the Normandy landings and the battle of Normandy through more than 10,000 pieces including 40 vehicles, tanks and cannons, displayed and staged with precision and realism.
